What Confinity doesn't cost.

Four things we refuse to bill for, even though we could.

Reading what you've already written.

Returning to Starter does not add a fee to read saved content. Access still depends on the records and attachments available to your account or browser; this is not a promise that every original has a cloud backup.

Exporting your data.

No export fee. Browser backups and account-export requests cover different records. Neither is a verified complete copy of all originals. Check the included and missing items before relying on a copy.

The basics of a memorial page.

The basics are free; optional contributions are pay-what-you-want. A draft is private by default. Check the available sharing controls before inviting others.

Data recovery.

No recovery fee. Recovery depends on a usable backup or synced copy. Files held only on a lost device may not be recoverable; complete cloud-original recovery is not verified.

Day One Silver / Gold: $49.99 / $74.99 USD per year; Annual subscriptions; local prices vary. Personal and shared journals, book printing, and export options. Gold adds AI features.
Storyworth: Check current plan and regional price; Memoir prompts and printed books. You can answer earlier prompts after the subscription expires; renewal provides another year of prompts.
iCloud+: UK: £0.99 / month (50 GB); Photos, files, and device backups; storage can be shared with five other family members. It is a storage service, not a dedicated memoir editor.
Notion: Free and paid per-member plans; Pages, databases, and collaboration for personal and work projects. Its AI policy excludes customer-data training by default; provider retention is a separate, plan-dependent issue.

Who else can see my family's archive?

Does it work without internet?

Already-loaded writing can be kept locally. Opening unloaded content, signing in, and syncing need internet. A fully on-device Private Mode is planned, not available yet.

Can I make a page for someone who's died?
