Four things we refuse to bill for, even though we could.

Reading what you've already written.

If you drop back to Starter you can still open and read every entry, every voice note and every photo you ever put in, because charging someone to look at their own life would be a strange way to run a business.

Exporting your data.

Your original files, the written transcripts, and a full data file. All of it, any time, no charge.

The basics of a memorial page.

Starting a page, inviting contributors and sharing it with the family are all free. Anything beyond that is pay-what-you-want.

Data recovery.

If you lose your phone, recovery is included. We don't profit from a bad day.

Is my content used to train models?
No. Not ours. Not anyone's. Zero-training is written into every provider contract.See the model posture
What happens if Confinity goes under?
You can ask for a full export today. We're also setting up a Trust CIC to hold the archive if the company ever stops, and the Trust Centre says plainly how far along that is.Read the continuity plan
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Your original files, the transcripts, a JSON bundle of everything else, and any Yearbook PDFs. Delivery isn't switched on in every environment yet, and the Trust Centre says where it stands.See export details
Who else can see my family's archive?

Does it work without internet?
Writing and reading work offline. A fully on-device Private Mode is planned for 2027.
Can I make a page for someone who's died?
