We are finishing our move from cherish.confinity.com to confinity.com and the new Confinity stack. Your archive is safe throughout. This page exists so you know what is happening, when, and what to do if anything feels off.

What is changing

  • The address. cherish.confinity.com becomes confinity.com. Old links redirect. You do not need to update bookmarks.
  • The app. Your signed-in studio is at app.confinity.com. It looks similar; it is faster.
  • Your sign-in. You stay signed in across both hosts with one cookie. If you had a Cherish-era cookie, a 90-day grace period bridges it automatically.
  • Your archive. Every note, photograph, voice recording, and memorial moves with you. We do not rewrite your content, and we do not re-train any model on it.

What is not changing

  • Your archive remains private by default.
  • We do not use your memories to train AI.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not show you ads.
  • We do not add streaks or badges.
  • We do not charge more for the same thing.

When

What to do if something feels off

  • Open the app. The banner at the top shows the current status. If anything is wrong, we say so here first.
  • Email support@confinity.com. First-response SLA is within four hours during UK + US business hours and within 24 hours at weekends. Attach a screenshot if you can; do not send screenshots of anything private if you do not want to.
  • Join the Founding Circle Discord if you have a seat. Link in your welcome email and in the /founding-circle page.
You never need to apologise for asking. The move is our work; you keeping your archive is the whole point.

What we promise

  • We will tell you before anything changes. If a feature is going away, you get a minimum of 30 days' notice.
  • We will not use the move as a pretext to change our pricing, our privacy posture, or the tone of our product.
  • If a rollback is necessary, we will do it without drama and without lecturing. The only measure that matters is whether your archive is exactly as you left it.

What we will not do

  • We will not email you "one more time" if you have unsubscribed.
  • We will not add urgency to the banner. "Only 3 days left" is not a sentence we write about a memory archive.
  • We will not use this page to upsell anything. You paid; you get the move.

Common questions

Will my cherish.* links still work? Yes, for at least two years. They 301 redirect to the equivalent confinity.com URL. Will my export still contain everything? Yes. The one-click export on /app/settings/export is unchanged. What happens to my Stripe subscription? Nothing. Your billing continues on the same terms. Receipts come from the same address. What if I forgot my password? Use the wonder-link flow at /sign-in. We removed passwords for members who had one; the link goes to the email on file. Can I keep using the old app? The old app reads the same archive. When we retire it, we will give you a minimum of 30 days' notice.
