What happens to your archive

The cutover week

Bring your memories across, calmly.

We are finishing our move from cherish.confinity.com to confinity.com. The plan is organised around one idea: you should never have to wonder whether your archive is safe.
Step 1

We tell you first

A heads-up email lands two weeks before anything changes, and a reminder a week out. You do not need to do a thing. The dates are ours to organise, and we will chase them.
Step 2

A short read-only window

On cutover day there is a read-only window of up to two hours. Your archive stays visible the whole time; you simply cannot add new entries until it lifts. A banner shows the time in your timezone.
Step 3

Everything lands intact

The day after, we confirm the move landed cleanly. Everything you could do before, you can do again, with the same archive, the same sign-in and nothing rewritten.

Nothing left behind

Every part of your archive travels with you.

We do not rewrite your content, and we do not re-train any model on it, during the move or after it. Here is exactly what comes across.

Every note and journal entry

Your writing moves word-for-word. We do not edit, summarise or re-flow a single entry. It arrives exactly as you left it.

Photographs and files

Full-resolution images and attachments come across in their original form, organised into the same spaces and people you placed them in.

Voice recordings

Every voice note travels with its transcript. Your recordings are never used to train a model, before the move or after it.

Remembrance pages

Memorial pages, contributors, and invitations move together. The people you invited stay invited; nothing memorial is ever made public by us.

Shared spaces and people

Family spaces, invite-only circles, and the people in your archive keep their links to one another. Nobody is dropped in the move.

Your sign-in

One cookie keeps you signed in across the old and new addresses. Old cherish.confinity.com links 301-redirect for at least two years.

In plain English

The move is our work. Your archive is the whole point.

The price and the promises stay put

We will not use the move as a pretext to change your price, your privacy posture, or the tone of the product. You paid; you get the move.

No urgency, ever

We will not write “only 3 days left” about a memory archive. The banner states facts and times, and it never manufactures pressure.

A clean rollback if needed

If a rollback is ever necessary, we do it without drama and without lecturing. The only measure that matters is that your archive is exactly as you left it.
If a feature is ever going away, you get a minimum of 30 days’ notice. If anything feels off, the banner in the app shows the current status, and a human reads every message sent to support.Prices and units on this page are metric and in pounds.
